Apparently I'm late to the party... podcasts aren't a 'new thing' - Well, news to me! I have just started getting into podcasts and honestly, all I thought podcasts were, were recorded radio shows. I surprise myself with how technologically unaware I can be sometimes. Not only did I not realise podcasts were a thing that people did, but I didn't realise how incredibly valuable they are.
I used to be a big reader, but I just find I run out of time or I'm too tired by the time I go to bed. So podcasts are a great way to create productivity in times you might otherwise just be wasting. So think, sitting on the train, driving to work - even while you're doing steady state cardio (cardio at a continuous, steady effort) i.e.; while you're on the exercise bike or walking on the treadmill. There are obviously - I say that like I'm some kind of expert - lots of different kinds of podcasts. If you're into crime and investigation, they've got podcasts for that. But I'm here to talk about more 'self help' kind of podcasts.

4| The Minimalists Podcast
Last year I watched the Netflix documentary on these two minimalists; Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus and became obsessed with this idea of minimalism. While I won't be moving into a small house off the grid any time soon, it was great sitting back and reflecting on all the 'things' and 'stuff' I have, that I simply don't need. All the clothes I have, when I have 'nothing to wear', all the clutter around me that drains my energy. I really encourage you to listen to their podcasts and take some time to consider what it is you truly need.
