Oh maaaaa goodness. Summer is definitely coming! I’ve spent the day walking around in my underwear, literally. If you follow me on instagram you’ll no I’m no stranger to a sneaky coffee or two a day. This heat has me sweatin’ while I sip on my trusty long black so obviously I had to come up with a fix. While a traditional mocha can be a full blown sugar affair, I wanted to shake things up a bit… add a little more bang for your buck. Instead of cocoa powder I used cacao powder, it’s much more nutrient dense. The roasting process of cocoa powder reduces the enzyme content. I also added maca powder, a powerful superfood that increases energy, and improves hormonal imbalances.
