It’s Sunday morning and I’m currently feeling a little under the weather… more feeling tired rather than sick from alcohol, but I am certainly sporting a bit of a hangover. Let me start by saying I’m not a big drinker, I don’t drink often, and when I do it’s never very much #lightweight. With that being said, I can still wake up feeling ‘hungover’ simply because I’m dehydrated.
ENTER – The Hydrating Green Smoothie.
As you can probably gather, this smoothie will get you feeling hydrated and replenished in no time. The liquid used is coconut water which is naturally full of electrolytes without the added sugar (powderade I’m talkin’ ’bout you). The mango and pineapple are fresh and naturally sweet so there’s no need to add any sweeteners, unless the fruit is slightly under ripe. In that case, go for a natural sweetener like honey, dates or even stevia. Give this smoothie a go the next time you return home from a sweaty run, or night out on the town!
