I love a good experiment. And by experiment, I mean kitchen experiment, none of this science explosion chemical stuff. No no, kitchen experiments is where it’s at. A new pancake recipe, smoothie recipe, ‘whats left in the fridge’ experiment. All about it. Sometimes though, you gotta keep things basic.
This granola is one of those recipes that become a household staple, a recipe that is easily meal prepped that even the kids could whip up… Mother’s Day is coming up hint hint kids. If you’ve ever had a read on the back of granola boxes in the super market (if you haven’t I highly suggest you do) you would have noticed how loaded with sugar they are. Sugar, fructose corn syrup, then on top of that brown sugar, maple syrup or honey. Geez Louise! A completely unnecessary amount of sugar to hit you firs thing in the morning. Not to mention how crazy expensive it is, which is why this granola recipe will be your saviour!
It’s so simple to put together with only a few ingredients, which I might add, can be adapted for all you beautiful vegan people out there. In my opinion, there really is nothing quite like home made granola.
