Christmas vibes are coming in hot over here. I’m comin’ atcha with another healthified recipe for the Christmas table. Eggnog is usually made using a whole lot of sugar, heavy creamy, full fat milking rum so as you can imagine it’s a rich and calorie dense drink.
While it’s typically not that popular here in Australia, you know, being Summer and all… The weather has been shocking the past few days with pouring rain and gusty winds. So this recipe came at the perfect time! I had mine warm, while kicking back watching a bit of netflix but I think it would be delicious cold, even over ice! I’ve made my version completely dairy free, so there’s no milk and no cream. Don’t be fooled, it’s still just as creamy as the original but is significantly better in terms of calories (more Christmas pudding for you!)
