I tend to go through phases of absolutely loving different food/meals. They aren’t short phases, generally they go for a few months and I just become literally obsessed. Take for example, my oats obsession. Not only would I want to eat porridge for breakfast every day, I’d also kinda want to eat them for dinner, dessert… lunch? Obsessed. Then one day the obsession just dies down, to a low simmer. It never fully disappears, the obsession will return, I can assure you.
At the moment, I’m low key obsessed with cinnamon. I just want it on everything! I put it on my porridge, I put extra in my chai latte, and now I’m adding it to my protein shakes. Mixed with vanilla protein, it is unreal. So so good. Not only is cinnamon DELISH, but it’s a well-known spice that has been around for centuries and with good reason. Cinnamon has some amazing health benefits, it’s known for it’s effects on metabolism, high antioxidant content and has anti-inflammatory effects – all of which can help with overall health and well-being.
