That time of year has come around again, shorter days, darker mornings. Yup, Summer is well and truly over. It’s sad, but on the bright side, this means cute knits, hot chocolate and warm choc banana bread! All in front of an open fire because, well, why not really? I’m still have crazy chocolate cravings since Easter and I had a few ripe bananas in the kitchen ready to be used. The only option was banana bread obviously. I adapted my original banana bread recipe to make it a more indulgent chocolate version.
You’ll notice I didn’t add a measurement for the chocolate in the recipe simply because, it’s up to you! Go hard on the chocolate or stay reserved I’ll leave that in your trusted hands. I of course, used an entire block of Loving Earth Mylk Chocolate – Can’t stop won’t stop! I think you guys are going to absolutely love this choc banana bread, it’s also a great one to meal prep with. I baked mine, sliced it, individually wrapped them in glad wrap and then popped them in the freezer. Choc Banana Bread ready to go whenever I get the craving!
