First things first, I don’t want anyone here thinking I’m against girls with lil’ bums. Not at all, I love all girls and all bums whatever shape or size it may be! I personally, consider myself to have a big booty, and I’m often told I’ve got what they call a ‘bubble butt’ – who knew?
There are plenty of people that ask me HOW?! and #goals, little do they know the difficultly that is jeans. Oh how I miss fitting into any kind of jean and have it look, well, flattering. Yes I said miss, I haven’t always had this so called big booty so I’ve had to adapt. The problem with jeans and big booties is that often, you need a bigger size to fit the thighs and bum, but then theres this big ol’ gaping space around the waist. Yet to fit the waist, you need a smaller size which won’t fit around that BIG BOOTY. It’s a change room melt down waiting to happen. I’ve put in the work so you don’t have to, not to mention no one enjoys a change room crying session.
Big Booty Jeans Guide
- Go for a jean that has lycra/elastane in it. You want at least 1% of the material to be either one of those. It will help give the jeans stretch while keeping shape. What this means is you can go for a slightly smaller size, that will stretch and fit the lower area, while being small enough in the waist band!
- Go for a jean that is high rise, it will become your best friend. If you’re not already wearing high rise jeans, get ready to be living a whole new life. It gives shape, and accentuates your booty while giving you a smaller waist.
- It can be difficult to find, but if you can, a jean with a wider waist band is also another great trick for improving the comfort level of your jeans!
