You are what you eat. A saying that’s been around for as long as I can remember; yet I only came to realise what this actually meant in recent years. Your body is incredible. Fuel it properly with wholesome nutrient dense food, all the colours of the rainbow and it will keep you feeling fresh, vibrant and energised all day long.

Now I’ve got you thinking I’m a very un-relatable gal who never eats chocolate, lollies or ice-cream. Ha well aren’t you so very wrong! Yes I try to fill most of my day with fruit, veggies and lean sources of protein; I am one of the biggest sweet tooth going around… Lemme just say I am not one to deprive myself! Raw cakes, coconut ice-cream, a mixed bag of lollies – oh yeah my names allllll over it.

This berry glowing smoothie speaks directly to the ‘you are what you eat’ phenomena. It’s packed full of antioxidants from all those berries and The Beauty Chef glow powder, which are going to fight ageing and cancerous cells in your body. Trust me this berry smoothie is going to have your skin thanking you! The glow powder also contains pre and probiotics; which if you haven’t heard are all the rage when it comes to balancing gut micro-biome and improving overall gut health. And you thought it was just a pretty berry smoothie; what have you been told about judging a book by it’s cover?! Dive in and give it a go – get glowing!

Berry Glowing Smoothie You are what you eat, and this smoothie is going to give you a health glow from the inside out!

  • Prep Time: 3m
  • Total Time: 4m
  • Yield: 1 Large or 2 Small Glasses

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup Frozen blackberries
  • 1/4 cup Frozen raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Acai powder
  • 1 teaspoon Berry greens powder
  • 1 teaspoon The Beauty Chef glow powder
  • 1/2 cup Ice
  • Chia seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients into a high speeds blender.
  2. Blend until completely smooth, pour into glass and sprinkle with chia seeds.
  3. Drink and enjoy!
